I enjoy reading books about relationships so I picked this one,It did start out quite interesting. This was a couple who seemed so in love despite a lot of obstacles in their way. She very rich, he from thepoor side of town with racial problems from her parents leading to more complications. What happens to their love and how it went so wrongis what the story tells us about. You start routing for this couple. Will they make it. However, after a few chapters, it gets so repetitive in howeach character in their turn explains to us how over t. This is an awesome story about love, losing love, and finding it again with the same person Kathy Molly has a brother she is very close to. One of his friends Leo is thought to have been somewhat responsible for his death. Molly meets Leo and they find they are truly smitten with each other. They have to understand their differences and yet create a life they can live with. Molly gives up a job related with family business and her mother and father. Her only family. Leo can't believe she loves him enough to do that. He feels he has to be the best he can be at his job, which takes him away from her. So much missed communication. They begin to fight each time he comes home so he stays away longer. When their marriage. "Enlightening" according to Janice K Hurst. I have read all three of Rimmer's books. All have been emotionally draining. They have all been good and I Am glad to have found her I liked the characters terms development, a d the message. I do wish she would have written more about the Aborigini people. I would have liked to have had more background on Molly's family. Otherwise a really good read.
