Luckily, Fairest Volume 2: Hidden Kingdom assuaged that fear.This collection of . Love this series, not my fav book They kind of forced a romance with rapunzel and a hot asian woman who happens to be a kitsune. Not that i am opposed to the ladies having a relationship, but this kind of thing feels forced and cheese-cakey. They also has rapunzel sort of develop an evil weird power, which was unexpected and still inadequately explained. It did have some nice creepy Japanese-style horror in it, but then they threw in the blondest of the blonde, it just had a forced mash-up feel. An interesting and fun read.
