Erin H. Monteith said I love the Brick books. I love the Brick books, they're a funny twist on the huge benchmarks of modern literature. Don't expect them to tone down any of the adult content that exists in the original texts, though, they tend to be very accurate. I know this was a problem for some families who bought the Brick Bible for their children and found it was much more explicit than they expected because it was accurate to the Biblical tellings. The same is true with the Shakespeare stuff. It's not especially gruesome or anything (it's hard to get too gory when the visuals are made of legos) but they're not cutting any corners, either, the stories are. My seventeen year old daughter has autism and was loving reading Shakespeare in school except she wanted an illustrated copy. Pictures greatly improve her comprehension.
