C1 said Perfect edition. Exactly what I needed. This is the best edition for a professional. Clean-no ridiculous bowings or fingerings. Perfect.. "More for the scholar" according to Chevalier de Pas. I have ordered this for my daughter and Hogwood's editing is very minimal. There are no suggestions for anything in the violin part. Good edition to have, but violin teacher will have to mark the score before a student can play.
