About the Author Kurt Henning is a music director/conductor in the Chicago area. . He earned his Bachelor's in Double Bass Performance and his Master's in Orchestral Conducting at Northwestern University. After eight years and 17 shows, he decided to switch artistic gears and focus on writing, working on a memoir and a screenplay (still working!). Kurt is also the proud father of two boys, runs a business as a full-time piano tuner/technician, and is an aviation structural mechanic with the Navy Reserve.
