What I think of Mandie and the Ghost Bandits Mandie is a twelve year-old girl that is a christian. The book starts out with Mandie getting on a train carrying gold. Later on the train ride the gold is stolen by a couple of ghost ''bandits''. When Mandie arrives in Asheville her and her friends Joe, Sallie, and Mandie's cat Snowball set out to find the gold that was stolen. This book is alright. Sometimes the book got boring, and somethime it really got you thinking. While Mandie and her friends are looking for the gold they are kidnapped.
