With that in mind, I came into this French-learning project with a good idea of how languages work and how to learn them. I think if you have a tutor, and you want to learn quickly this would be a good book. However, don't rush through this. Read each story several times. Studies show that it takes time to develop reading fluency and that includes reading silently several times by the student. This gets progressively more difficult, and after months of working with this your reading skills will be much better. Just don't put too much pressure on yourself to finish this by a certain time. It's not a race:)
