What happened between the first two books and this one? I had to put this book down a third of the way in. The characters were totally ghetto and very annoying. Who behaves this way???? If people kept giving me unsolicited religious advice and spoke to me like I was some brainless ninny even though I'm a respected business person, I'd run in the other direction. Ugh, too overbearin. People who shop at holy ghost corner Sharon Jordan Chruch folks and holy ghost corner: People came to holy ghost corner to get some nice thinks and alot of different people,After reading chruch folks I just know this book was going to be good, but it wasn't nothin like I felt it was going to be.. "Didn't pique my interest like Church folk and Second Sunday" according to Patricia W. This was a slow moving book. It had some interesting characters, but I would have liked to known what happened with the characters from Ms Bowen's first two books. Only thing that we know in this book is that Theophillus and Essie from Church Folk--now have a grown daighter who is a minister--Glodean Benson is married to Sonny
