Not Recommended. Pretty much a waste of time.. Disjointed story from start to finish Bichon Mom While I thought the plot was good and, unfortunately, all too plausible, the story lacked cohesiveness. I really hate to give a negative review to a self published author and would have quit reading early on if it were not for all the good reviews that were posted. I kept hoping that the book would come together. Unfortunately, it never did improve and I was happy to finally reach the end.The author has a very terse style of writing and uses a lot of sentence fragments but it works with this story. However, the layout of the story is also in fragments which do not smoothly segu. "GRIDLOCK: Real as.today's news." according to Robin Crusse. GRIDLOCK is a realistic and exciting treatment of plausible events effecting the highways serving the nation's Capitol. The plot and action build to a confrontation between a "typical" Coast Guard officer and the terrorists. The story line is fast moving and well conceived. The prose is clear concise and descriptive. The author is knowledgeable of the geographic area and his action scenes hit the mark.I enjoyed this effort as well as the other three books by Kevin Grote.
