Just a fantastic, beautifully written book I continue to go back to. I have been reading this book since middle school (15 years where has the time gone?!). One of my absolute favorite tales of King Arthur and Bradley did great research to pull her novel together. The kindle version is well edited and easy to cruise through, the spacing between paragraphs can be perplexing and at the beginning of every chapter it's italicized like . "A classic for all time" according to Kindle Customer. This is probably my favorite version of the classical King Arthur tale. A unique telling from the perspective of the ladies of the Court and a realistic portrayal of the Christian intolerance that overwrought the times. A humanizing look at the effects on those involved in the ruling of a kingdom. Vivian and Morgaine are two of my favorite leading female character.
