Great purchase from Amazon Jean Ristaino I loved the Paraclete Bible for Kids. It is filled with beautiful illustrations and Bible stories. The stories are geared for young children and are very readable. I am a grandmother and purchased the Bible for my grandchildren. I read them a story when they come to visit me. They love the Bible. This is a Bible which young children find very visually appealing, the maps are EXCELLENT, the illustrations do a fantastic job demonstrating emotions for young children, and the stories that are included seem to follow the Biblical text fairly well.However, as a Lutheran pastor I have a few concerns: the language for God is not gender inclusive, the illustrations include no people of color except for the Ethiopian eunuch (Jesus and pretty much everyone else are white), and the Bible comes to an abrupt end with the end Acts talking about how Paul was executed but his words li
