This book is a wonderful addition to a ballet aficionado's library. Although I've read more comprehensive bios of Anna Pavlova, this one is one of my favorite books as it contains some of the most exquisite photographs of h. "Her life in pictures" according to Nonesuch Explorers. Like "Caruso, His Life in Pictures" by Francis Robinson, this is no mere coffee-table book. The story of Pavlova's life, mostly taken from her own words in interviews, is accompanied by marvelous studio and candid photographs. The narration by Margot Fonteyn is very quiet; you can almost hear her voice, speaking with a kind o. "Wonderful Book for Ballet Lovers" according to Mary Beth Linne. Book came quickly and safely. This is a wonderful book that captures the love and beauty of Anna Pavlova and her love of Ballet. I read it as a teenager and the book stuck with me so much that I wanted to buy it and read it again as an adult. Margot Fonteyn really conveys her love of Ballet and Ms. Pavlova through the book. I
